Role Overview

The Front-End Silicon Design and Integration Engineer will join the Security IP team to design and verify embedded microprocessor subsystems and hardware accelerators that enhance system performance. Responsibilities include contributing to RTL design and synthesis, optimizing power, performance, and area (PPA), and developing automated design rule checks.

Experience Level

This position is suited for skilled engineers, typically at a mid-career level, who possess a strong technical background and are looking to further develop their expertise in silicon design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop RTL synthesis strategies and perform timing path and PPA analysis for block and subsystem levels.
  • Create ECO strategies, execute RTL ECOs, and resolve discrepancies in netlists.
  • Develop and automate RTL static design rule checks, collaborating with back-end integration and physical design teams.
  • Enhance FEINT design and verification infrastructure, methodologies, and tools.
