Role Summary
NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Formal Verification Engineer to work in its Central Formal team in Bangalore. The role involves crafting and optimizing formal verification flows for CPU/GPU projects and resolving tool issues, ensuring design correctness through advanced formal techniques.
Experience Level
Mid-level, requiring a minimum of 3 years of industry experience on formal techniques for verification.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Specification, implementation, and maintenance of an integrated formal verification flow.
- Developing scripts to automate verification processes.
- Reviewing formal setups and proofs with design teams.
- Maintaining assertion libraries for simulation and formal verification (FV).
- Creating verification plans based on identified key behaviours of DUT.
- Debugging RTL to identify causes of failures.
Requirements
Must-have skills include:
- Bachelors/Masters in Electronics & Communications, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with formal verification techniques.
- Strong analytical and scripting skills.
- Knowledge of CPU architectures and digital logic.
- Experience with HDLs such as Verilog/System Verilog.
- Understanding of temporal logic assertions.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience with various Formal Verification Tools.
- Background in CPU/GPU verification projects.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
Education Requirements
Bachelors/Masters in Electronics & Communications, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
