Role Overview

Position Summary

The SoC Design Engineer will take a proactive role in reviewing subsystem architecture and creating microarchitecture specifications. Key tasks include debugging, improving system performance, and collaborating with Project Management to manage project timelines and deliverables.

Experience Level

This position seeks candidates with a combination of educational background and practical experience in the field of Electrical/Computer Engineering. Both Bachelor's and Master’s degree holders with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and integrate incoming IPs, ensuring functionality and interworking with other components.
  • Develop and document microarchitecture specifications and RTL.
  • Run design checks and resolve any bugs or issues identified during the design process.
  • Collaborate with Project Management on project planning and scheduling activities.
  • Enhance existing design methodologies and facilitate improvements across teams.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate a solid background in digital hardware design, specifically with experience in Verilog HDL. Additional requirements include proficiency with static design checks, design specifications, scripting languages, and a demonstrated history of timely project deliveries. Strong communication skills and an ability to articulate technical decisions are also essential.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a closely related field is required for this position.
