Engineer Student Intern

Role Summary

The Engineer Student Intern will collaborate with engineers on projects within the Quality and Optimization Excellence Team (QOET). Interns will engage in various aspects of the test development process, including test documentation, software and hardware design, debugging, and data analysis.

Experience Level

Internship level; candidates must be currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor's degree program.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with test design documentation.
  • Contribute to software and hardware design efforts.
  • Engage in debugging and data gathering activities.
  • Conduct data analysis and problem-solving tasks.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a BS degree program majoring in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Completed coursework in Circuit Analysis and Electronics theory.
  • Basic programming skills and experience with component-level circuit design and debugging.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Understanding of fundamental electronic devices and circuit theory.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a global, multi-functional team environment.
  • Self-motivated with effective planning and prioritization skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Teradyne microFlex, LTX, NI, and/or ETS88.

Education Requirements

This position requires enrollment in a BS degree program in a relevant field.
