Engineer, Scribe CAD
Role Summary
The role involves supporting the development of advanced process technology through scribe test structure design and layout, CAD, and reticle creation in Micron’s Technology Development Group.
Experience Level
Mid-level, with a requirement of 3+ years of experience in CAD operations.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the development of new products by designing and using CAD software for product development.
- Managing database methods and version control techniques.
- Understanding PDK development/validation, EDA tools and flows.
- Utilizing programming languages including Skill/Skill++, Perl, and Python.
- Supporting the creation of programmatically defined P-cell devices and macros.
- Developing scripts and programming utilities for physical design and verification.
- Understanding basic CMOS process manufacturing and layout design rules.
- Collaborating with engineers to implement best-design practices for automation tools.
Requirements
Must-have skills include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering.
- Strong experience (3+ years) in CAD operations.
- Familiarity with database management and version control techniques.
- Proficiency in programming fundamentals and languages.
- Understanding of CMOS manufacturing processes.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering is required.
