Embedded Processing IC Development Engineer

Role Summary

The position involves working as an NCG Engineer in the Embedded Processing IC Development Division. You will focus on the implementation, verification, and integration of RISC-based processor IP and related components, all while developing foundational skills in digital design and verification.

Experience Level

This is suitable for entry to mid-career level candidates with relevant educational qualifications and some practical experience in semiconductor development.

Responsibilities

• Engage in Digital Design and RTL Development utilizing Verilog or VHDL.
• Participate in Verification and Validation by developing SystemVerilog UVM testbenches.
• Apply knowledge of RISC processor architecture and AMBA bus protocols.
• Support SoC and Subsystem Integration flows.
• Develop software automation solutions using Perl, Python, or C++.
• Conduct ARM Assembler and C programming for testing purposes.
• Contribute to AI development for innovative work processes.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field. A fundamental understanding of semiconductor processes alongside practical experience in VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog is expected. Proficiency in programming languages such as Perl, Python, and C++ is essential, as well as strong analytical capabilities and effective communication skills in both German and English.
