Role Overview

Overview of Responsibilities

Interns will:

  • Enhance research on numerical algorithms and develop high-performance software for electromagnetics and circuit simulations.
  • Automate and conduct comprehensive unit and regression tests for software quality assurance.
  • Implement best software engineering practices, taking part in design and code reviews.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. in fields such as electrical engineering, computer science, or related disciplines, and should possess the following qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a full-time program with a maintained GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Proficiency in scientific programming languages like C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Practical experience with power electronics.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a determined mindset.
  • Preferred: Background in circuit simulation, semiconductor device modeling, or AI/ML projects.

Internship Details

This internship spans 3 months, beginning in May 2025 and concluding in August 2025. It is a full-time position, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, and can be completed remotely from anywhere in Canada.

Education Requirements

Candidates must be pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computational electromagnetics, or a related technical field.
