Role Summary

This internship program at Synopsys is designed for students pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field. As a summer intern, you will have the opportunity to work on automated regression testing for HFSS and HFSS 3D Layout products, focusing on quality assurance and defect management.

Experience Level

This position is intended for students currently enrolled full-time in a Master's degree program and planning to return to their studies after the internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand automated regression tests for HFSS and HFSS 3D Layout products.
• Investigate and report defects in production code to enhance product reliability.
• Analyze simulation outcomes and communicate findings effectively to testing leads.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and overall product quality.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with HFSS or HFSS 3D Layout through academic coursework or projects.
• Basic scripting experience, particularly with Python.
• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of electromagnetics or RF design, and familiarity with automated testing or regression testing concepts.

Education Requirements

Current enrollment in a Master's degree program in a related technical field is required.
