Electrical Validation Engineer

Role Summary

The AI System Validation Team at Intel is focused on validating GPU hardware and firmware for artificial intelligence applications. The position involves ensuring that electrical and functional performance standards are met from the design phase all the way through to customer support.

Experience Level

The role is designed for experienced hires, requiring a minimum of 2 years of direct experience in electrical validation and testing.

Responsibilities

The job entails several key responsibilities, including:

• Defining validation strategies for IO interfaces to meet analog performance and production goals.
• Validating circuit performance and electrical signal integrity against industry standards.
• Conducting multidisciplinary research related to IO architecture development.
• Analyzing customer returns to improve yields and resolve electrical issues.
• Collaborating with various teams to ensure effective validation of IO architecture implementations.
• Preparing validation specifications and generating test reports.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in electrical validation and testing.
• Proficiency in signal integrity analysis and measurement.
• Experience with semiconductor, electronics, and PCB schematics/layout.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field is required.
