Role Summary

The Display Architecture Validation Engineer plays a critical role in validating the architecture and requirements of the display sub-system for Apple’s application processors. This position involves working closely with various architecture and design teams to ensure the display technology meets the necessary standards for a range of Apple products.

Experience Level

This role is suited for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, ideally with experience in digital signal processing and its applications to image or video processing.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Display and SoC architects on requirements evaluation.
  • Engage with design and verification teams in validating display architecture.
  • Ensure the performance of display technologies through rigorous testing and analysis.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of display technologies across Apple products.

Requirements

Candidates should have strong programming skills in C++ and familiarity with scripting languages like Lua and Python. Understanding of digital image/video processing and image quality assessment is crucial, along with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Education Requirements

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for an MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science for candidates with advanced skills.
