Role Summary

The DFT Product Engineer Internship is part of Siemens' Strategic Student Program. Interns will collaborate with a global team to apply Design for Test (DFT) methodologies in semiconductor manufacturing quality assurance.

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will:

  • Work on modern DFT technologies and contribute to semiconductor design projects.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation and demonstration materials.
  • Collaborate with international engineering teams.
  • Learn and apply hardware description languages such as Verilog and scripting.
  • Support presentations of new features to major customers.

Requirements

Must-have skills and qualifications include:

  • Conversational English proficiency.
  • Basic knowledge of logic design concepts.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and deadline adherence.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

  • Experience in Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages.
  • Basic understanding of microelectronics.
