Role Summary
The Design Verification Engineer will be involved in verifying Cache & Memory Management IPs integral to Graphics Core IPs. This role requires collaboration with architects and design engineers to ensure high-quality verification processes are maintained.
Experience Level
This position requires a mid-career level candidate with substantial experience in ASIC verification, particularly in the context of complex designs.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with architects, RTL designers, and verification engineers to ensure project verification closure.
- Create and manage testbenches, debug verification components, and tests.
- Oversee functional, power, and performance verification including planning and execution.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test and coverage plans.
- Adapt to evolving verification methodologies to tackle complex SoC designs under tight schedules.
Requirements
- Significant verification experience in large ASIC development projects.
- Thorough understanding of Computer Architecture and Digital Design principles.
- Strong knowledge of Verilog, System Verilog, and C/C++ coding practices.
- Experience with UVM, OVM, or similar verification methodologies.
- Familiarity with constrained random verification and formal verification techniques is a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, Ruby, Bash, or Python.
- Experience using industry-standard tools like Synopsys VCS and Verdi.
- Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
