Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

AMD is looking for an experienced Design Verification Engineer to verify a part of the UALink/PCIe Controller Design. This role involves working on next-generation technology for AMD Microprocessors that will power various systems, including Gaming Consoles, Servers, and Personal Computers. The team focuses on high complexity RTL code and creating advanced testbenches using leading-edge verification techniques.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional verification from test plan to verification signoff.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to understand IP features.
• Write, implement, and review test plans.
• Verify critical high-speed digital designs using various testing techniques.
• Own aspects of the verification flow, from test planning to sign-off closure.
• Build testbench components and develop libraries using Object-Oriented Programming verification techniques.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the verification process.

Requirements

The candidate must be detail-oriented and possess strong communication, mentoring, leadership, and problem-solving skills. They should work well with cross-functional teams and have the ability to drive tasks from start to completion.

Education Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
