Role Summary
As a Design Verification Engineer at Advanced Micro Devices, you will focus on verifying high-performance, scalable IP for the Infinity (Data) Fabric team. This role entails collaborating with senior design engineers to ensure the smooth integration of compute, memory, and I/O subsystems across AMD’s product lines, including CPUs, GPUs, and APUs.
Experience Level
This position is suitable for candidates with a mid-career level of experience, particularly those with a strong background in ASIC design verification.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the verification execution for complex Data Fabric IP blocks from the review stage through to tape-out.
- Lead in creating and signing off on test plans, employing both constrained-random and directed testing methods.
- Implement coverage-driven verification, establishing and meeting functional and code coverage objectives.
- Work cross-functionally with design, architecture, and performance teams to troubleshoot complex issues and promote first-pass silicon success.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level verification engineers, reviewing their code and test strategies.
- Initiate and enhance verification methods, focusing on automation and process improvements to boost team efficiency.
- Engage in post-silicon debug and validation efforts, supporting the diagnosis of issues in lab or customer systems.

Education Requirements
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
