Role Summary

The CPU Verification Engineer will be responsible for functional verification of CPU logic, ensuring compliance with design specifications. The role involves the development of verification plans, execution of system simulation models, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance CPU design performance.

Experience Level

This position requires candidates to have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 months of relevant experience or a Master’s degree in related fields.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Performing functional verification of CPU logic.
  • Developing IP verification plans, test benches, and verification environments.
  • Executing verification plans, analyzing power and timing, and troubleshooting bugs.
  • Collaborating with architects and physical design teams to improve CPU features.
  • Documenting test plans and leading technical reviews.
  • Maintaining functional verification infrastructure.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with experience in computer architecture and hardware modeling languages. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees and experience in Intel Architecture, micro-architecture verification, and low-level software programming.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering; or a Master’s degree in a related field is required.
