Role Summary

The CPU Design Verification Student Worker will be part of the E-Core CPU team in Guadalajara, Mexico, focusing on pre-silicon validation of Intel's next generation CPU cores. This role involves collaborating with a team of engineers to verify new and existing features, ensuring a bug-free final design.

Experience Level

Entry-level; Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree and have around 8 months of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this position include:

  • Developing pre-silicon validation test plans and scenarios.
  • Creating components for simulation-based environments.
  • Debugging digital simulations and resolving bugs.
  • Developing functional coverage and achieving coverage goals.
  • Collaborating with design engineers and other team members.
  • Delivering high-quality output against deadlines.

Requirements

The following qualifications are required:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8 months of experience in digital design, ASIC design flow, and computer architecture.
  • Programming or scripting knowledge in C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python, or Unix (Linux).
  • Familiarity with hardware description languages including VHDL, Verilog, or System Verilog.
  • Basic understanding of pre-silicon validation tools.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Must have the right to work in Mexico without sponsorship.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
