Role Summary
The Core Debug Engineer will work with Design Verification and RTL teams to validate design behavior and contribute to design convergence, ensuring high-performance microprocessor designs are effectively verified.

Responsibilities
- Research and verify software components utilizing digital design theory.
- Perform pre-silicon verification of high-performance microprocessor designs and related intellectual properties.
- Achieve milestone metrics through qualitative contributions.
- Debug both directed and random stimuli to identify bugs in microprocessor designs and verify functionality against specifications.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a capacity for learning and collaboration.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated individual responsibility and a drive for personal achievement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Documentation of knowledge in areas such as modern computer architecture, C++ programming, HDL representation, or hardware verification techniques.
- Familiarity with scripting in languages such as Perl, Ruby, Python, and logic simulation tools.
