Role Summary
The Circuit Calibration Design Engineer at NVIDIA will be a part of the Silicon Co-design Group, contributing to the Hardware Architecture Development team. This role requires engagement throughout the entire product development cycle, from architecture definition through product release.
Experience Level
We are looking for candidates with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities include:
- Designing architectures and algorithms for circuit calibration features.
- Characterizing and modeling circuit behavior for ATE (Automated Test Equipment) and mission mode.
- Defining circuit calibration software and tools, optimizing the calibration process and costs.
- Partnering with ATE or software teams to integrate the circuit calibration process.
- Improving correlation between ATE and system performance, accounting for circuit PVT variations.
Requirements
Ideal candidates should possess:
- A deep understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits principles, including noise analysis and stability.
- Experience designing both calibration hardware and software algorithms.
- Familiarity with lab equipment and automated test systems.
- Knowledge of statistical methods for optimizing calibration processes.
- Proficient skills in Linux, Python, and Perl.
Education Requirements
Minimum of a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
