Role Summary
Join NVIDIA as a Chip Design Engineer and be a part of the Switch Silicon team focused on Verification and Design roles. In this position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design, implementation, and verification of cutting-edge Switch Silicon chips, enhancing high-speed communication devices that provide exceptional throughput and low latency.
Experience Level
This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in RTL design and/or dynamic verification. A solid educational background in Electrical or Computer Engineering is essential.
Responsibilities
Your key tasks will include:
- Working collaboratively in a design and verification team to develop core units for switch silicon.
- Micro-architecture for RTL and simulation environment planning for units and modules.
- Designing and verifying RTL units/blocks based on architectural specifications, focusing on power, area, and performance.
- Building reference models and simulating chip blocks/entities according to specifications.
- Conducting RTL synthesis, timing, verification support, and silicon post-transfer activities.
- Collaborating closely with Architecture, Full Chip Micro-Architecture, Backend Engineering, and Firmware teams.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, with strong academic performance or equivalent experience.
- Completion of programming and logic design courses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for teamwork.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is mandatory.
