Role Summary
The Associate Product Engineer will work within the Siemens Digital Industries Software team, focusing on hardware verification and protocol standards. This role includes defining protocol feature prioritization and guiding customers in creating verification methodologies based on UVM.
Experience Level
Mid-level; 3–6 years of experience in functional verification or related domains.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities include:
- Ensuring optimal project outcomes in terms of deployability and quality.
- Collaborating with global teams, customers, and marketing for new developments.
- Developing use models and test cases for diverse customers.
- Acting as the customer advocate within the product team.
- Creating and delivering training materials and sessions for teams and customers.
- Providing second-line technical support during beta phases and early production ramp-up.
- Identifying and analyzing customer challenges during deployments.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Strong knowledge of digital design using HDL (SystemVerilog and Verilog).
- Advanced knowledge of functional verification methodologies (UVM).
- Familiarity with protocol standards like PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, and AMBA is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely within a global team.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, as required.
- Strong command of English.
