Role Summary

The Associate Engineer in Test Engineering (eTest Process Operation) is responsible for optimizing and supporting test process operations. The role includes developing procedures for test process control and improvement, collaborating with team members to meet module objectives, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Experience Level

Entry-level; relevant education or 1 to 2 years of experience in test engineering or wafer-fab production.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Performing shift duties (12-hour shift) to support test process operations.
  • Developing methods and procedures for test process control and improvement.
  • Coordinating with specialists to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Designing and operating sophisticated test equipment to maintain quality and minimize defects.
  • Analyzing reports to determine trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with suppliers on quality issues and ensuring implementation of corrective actions.
  • Creating process job files for test equipment setup.
  • Maintaining safety and cleanliness in the production area.
  • Supporting all environmental, health, safety, and security requirements.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Able to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Physically fit to handle test fixtures and equipment in a cleanroom environment.
  • Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently.

Education Requirements

Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
