Role Overview

The ASIC Verification Engineer for GPU Shader will be responsible for ensuring the verification of GPU shader core designs. This role demands a proactive approach in testing and validating designs to guarantee top performance and coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Define, write, and execute comprehensive test cases covering all scenarios supported by the Instruction Set Architecture (ISA).
  • Collaborate with design engineers to understand subtleties in pipelines and craft tests focused on functional and performance metrics.
  • Develop infrastructure supporting new GPU features and work with teams to validate those features efficiently.
  • Implement automation strategies to streamline regression testing, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in test execution.

Requirements

  • Proficient knowledge of GPU or CPU architectures and ISA.
  • Experience in design verification for complex systems.
  • Familiarity with SystemVerilog, UVM frameworks, and C++ programming.
  • Proficient with electronic design automation (EDA) tools for simulation and verification.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
