Role Summary

The ASIC Physical Design, Sr Engineer will be responsible for implementing and optimizing physical layout designs for ASIC projects. This position involves working closely with design teams to ensure that the physical representation of designs meets performance and manufacturability goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement physical designs for ASIC projects, ensuring they meet all specifications.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure smooth integration of designs.
• Conduct design rule checking (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) verification.
• Optimize layout for area and performance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers involved in physical design tasks.

Requirements

Candidates must possess strong knowledge of ASIC physical design and tools such as Cadence or Synopsys. Proficiency in layout design, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.

Education Requirements
