ASIC Digital Design Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ASIC Digital Design Architect to join our engineering team in Mississauga, Canada. In this role, you will contribute to the architecture and design of advanced ASIC solutions, ensuring they meet the performance and functionality requirements of our high-performance computing products.

This position is ideal for candidates who possess a mid-career level of experience in digital design and ASIC development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate digital ASIC architecture and design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design specifications.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical leadership.
• Utilize simulation tools to validate design functionality and performance.
• Optimize designs for power, area, and speed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in ASIC digital design and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of RTL design using VHDL or Verilog.
• Experience with design synthesis and timing closure.
• Familiarity with FPGA prototyping is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
