Role Summary

The ASIC Design Engineer will play a vital role in the design and development of next-generation chips, focusing on BOOT, functional safety, and power management subsystems. You will work independently on architectural trade-offs that dictate the performance and power requirements of complex units.

Experience Level

This position requires a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in digital design and verification, particularly in crafting CPU/micro-controller based subsystems.

Responsibilities

As a designer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning micro-architecture and RTL development for design modules.
  • Micro-architecting features to meet performance, power, and area requirements.
  • Collaborating with hardware architects to define critical features.
  • Working with verification teams to ensure feature correctness.
  • Partnering with timing, VLSI, and physical design teams to meet timing and interface requirements.

Requirements

Candidates should possess strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-cultural environment. Familiarity with security standards and system security architectures of modern SoCs is a plus.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology (BTech/MTech) is required for this position.
