The Architect, AI Solutions role focuses on physical design methodology and solutions within the semiconductor technology domain. The individual will work closely with customers and internal teams to address design challenges while leveraging artificial intelligence applications to enhance digital design flows.
Experience Level
Senior level, requiring 20+ years of hands-on experience with RTL-to-GDS physical design.
Responsibilities
The role involves the following key responsibilities:
- Engage directly with customers to understand their design goals and challenges.
- Demonstrate Synopsys’ physical design tools through hands-on support.
- Collaborate with R&D and Product Engineering to influence tool development.
- Deliver technical presentations and workshops to empower teams.
- Diagnose and resolve design issues concerning advanced node challenges.
- Contribute to the Application Engineering team's productivity and growth.
Requirements
The following qualifications are required:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in RTL-to-GDS physical design flows.
- Proficiency with EDA tools such as Fusion Compiler, PrimeTime, DSO.ai, etc.
- Strong understanding of design planning, timing closure, and power reduction.
- Experience with AI models and generative techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
