Applications Engineering Staff Engineer

Role Summary

The Applications Engineering Staff Engineer will partner with customers and internal teams to facilitate project sign-offs, evaluate newly developed features, and drive their adoption. This role emphasizes technical support throughout the customer design cycle, requiring strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience Level

5+ years of experience in semiconductor design or EDA tools is required. Candidates must possess a comprehensive understanding of IC design flows and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers to grasp their technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting throughout the design cycle.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to enhance user capabilities.
• Collaborate with R&D to relay customer needs and influence product development.
• Develop technical documentation and best practice guides for customer self-sufficiency.
• Lead technical escalations and ensure timely resolutions.
• Identify opportunities for innovative solutions in customer application services.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. Proficiency in EDA tools and scripting languages, alongside strong troubleshooting skills, is essential. Excellent communication skills in English are necessary; proficiency in Korean is a strong advantage.
