Responsibilities
- Architect high-performance, energy-efficient processor designs meeting aggressive performance and power metrics.
- Refine EDA tools and methodologies to support processor implementations.
- Work with customers to guide their processor-based platform development using Synopsys EDA solutions.
- Collaborate with R&D and marketing teams to align product features with market trends.
- Engage with IP partners for tool and IP integration.
- Lead account strategy meetings and innovative solution development.
- Mentor engineering teams on best practices for physical design.
- Represent Synopsys in industry events to showcase technical leadership.
Requirements
- Expertise in physical design and implementation of processors and SoCs.
- Strong familiarity with advanced EDA tools for digital implementation.
- Experience with cutting-edge silicon technologies (7nm, 5nm, 3nm).
- Hands-on integration experience with IP vendors.
- Programming skills in Python, Tcl, or Perl for automation.
- Understanding of PPA trade-offs in design.
Education Requirements
A relevant degree in Engineering or Computer Science is typically required for this role.
