Role Summary

As an Analog Layout Engineer Staff at Synopsys, you will work on custom layout design of high-performance Analog IPs, collaborating with global teams to drive innovations in chip design and verification.

Experience Level

Mid-level; at least 5 years of experience in custom layout design required.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing custom layout Analog IPs and ensuring performance optimization.
• Conducting layout verification and quality checks.
• Collaborating with engineering teams on integration and design reviews.
• Mentoring junior engineers and leading layout teams.
• Participating in research programs for future product development.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

• BS in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in custom layout.
• Proficient with Cadence and Synopsys layout entry tools.
• Experience with Mentor Calibre and Synopsys ICV verification tools.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication and MOSFET fundamentals.
• Knowledge of ESD, Latchup, Antenna, and EMIR elements.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electromechanics, or Telecommunications.
