Experience Level
This position is targeted at entry-level candidates. It is suitable for recent graduates from the classes of 2024 and 2025 who are eager to learn and grow in the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities
As an Analog Layout Apprentice, your tasks will include:
- Supporting the development of analog and mixed-signal CMOS layouts.
- Collaborating with layout engineers to understand schematics and design corresponding layouts.
- Assisting in troubleshooting layout issues and participating in physical verification processes.
- Learning and adhering to standard layout methodologies and tool flows.
- Coordinating with team members to ensure timely completion of layout tasks.
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, ECE, EEE, VLSI, or related fields.
- Recent graduates from the class of 2024 or 2025 only.
- Not currently enrolled in any M-Tech programs or postgraduate diplomas.
- No full-time employment at any other company (limited internship experience is acceptable).
- Basic understanding of CMOS layout techniques and design rules.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to learn new tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and teamwork capabilities.
Education Requirements
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (B.E. or B.Tech) and should be recent graduates without any ongoing postgraduate studies.
