Role Summary

This role is for an Analog Design Engineering Intern, suitable for students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program. Interns work on actual projects that contribute to their professional development and provide exposure to upper management.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

  • Contributing to the design of integrated circuit functional blocks including Bandgaps, Amplifiers, Current references, Comparators, general analog blocks, RF power amplifier, LNA, and other RF blocks.
  • Meeting performance requirements while considering size, cost, footprint, and schedule.
  • Working as part of a team to contribute integrated circuit design schematics, simulations, and lab data.

Requirements

Qualifications include:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering must be completed. Master’s or PhD students accepted.
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Keysight ADS, and electromagnetic simulation.
  • Completion of integrated circuit design coursework in analog/RF circuit design.
  • Preferably students with background in power management, signal chain, ADC, and high voltage gate driver.
  • Exposure to analog measurement equipment such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes preferred.
  • Software experience with Virtuoso, Maestro, ADS, and EM simulation.
  • Minimum average GPA of 3.5 in integrated circuit coursework.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.

Education Requirements

Must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Acceptance of Master’s or PhD candidates is also considered.
