Role Overview

This internship offers an opportunity to engage in analog and mixed signal layout design for integrated circuits at Synopsys, located in Gdansk, Poland. You will participate in a structured program that includes hands-on training in a collaborative environment, gaining valuable industry experience.

Experience Level

Internship position geared towards individuals currently enrolled in an Electronics Engineering degree program, preferably at least in their third year.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Participate in training sessions to understand the design environment.
• Design the analog layout for integrated circuits.
• Work on custom digital layout designs.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should have:

• A strong understanding of basic electrical principles such as resistance, capacitance, and inductance.
• Analytical thinking capabilities and excellent problem-solving skills.
• A passion for learning and acquiring new knowledge in the field.
• Proficiency in written English.
• Preferred qualifications include:
• Familiarity with silicon physical phenomena and behaviors of basic active silicon devices.
• Relevant experience or coursework with analog and mixed signal CMOS circuit layouts.
• Understanding of custom digital layout concepts.

Education Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field, with a preference for candidates entering their third year of study or beyond.
