2026 Summer CPU Design Verification Intern

Role Summary

This internship will provide the opportunity to work on CPU design verification within a leading semiconductor company. The role requires a strong understanding of x86-64 computer architecture, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies while receiving guidance and constructive feedback from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

Interns will focus on developing essential skills in the semiconductor field by:

• Engaging in X86 Cores Design Verification.
• Managing individual time effectively to meet project goals.
• Completing tasks including documentation, coding, and debugging.

Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline at a Romanian-based university.
• Exposure to CPU computer architectures.
• Familiarity with basic programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with OOP languages (C++/System Verilog) and scripting languages (Perl/Python).
• Knowledge of digital design (VHDL/Verilog) principles.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Education Requirements

Minimum education requirement is enrollment in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.
