Role Summary
Lead technical product management for the implementation portfolio focused on advanced-node applications and AI-driven design flows. Manage a team of TPMs, work with R&D and customers to define product strategy, market requirements, and release readiness across synthesis, place-and-route, ECO flows, and formal verification.

Senior β this role expects extensive senior-level experience (20+ years) in applications engineering, R&D, or design within EDA or semiconductor design.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead technical product management for the implementation portfolio and define technical direction for advanced-node and AI-enabled differentiation.
- Engage directly with customers at leading semiconductor companies, hyperscalers, or large CAD organizations to identify high-value problems.
- Develop Market Requirements Documents and collaborate on Product Requirements Documents that engineering can execute against.
- Guide creation of Tcl/Python prototypes as executable specifications to remove ambiguity and accelerate development.
- Define release readiness criteria for Alpha, Beta, LCA, and GA across the portfolio.
- Represent the company as a subject-matter expert at customer technical reviews and industry forums.
- Mentor TPMs, establish prioritization processes, customer feedback loops, and KPI tracking to focus on high-impact work.
Requirements
Must-have skills and expectations:
- 20+ years experience in applications engineering, R&D, or design within EDA or semiconductor design.
- Deep hands-on expertise in synthesis, place and route, ECO flows, formal verification, or related implementation domains.
- Proven ability to define product requirements with major semiconductor customers, hyperscalers, or large CAD organizations.
- Executive presence and strong communication skills; able to present technical product strategy to VPs, CTOs, and senior leaders.
- Comfort with ambiguity, strong prioritization skills, and ability to balance technical merit with business ROI.
- Experience mentoring or leading TPMs through complex cross-functional interactions.
- Willingness to be onsite at Sunnyvale HQ 4β5 days per week and to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience presenting at IEEE, IMEC, GOMAC, TSMC, or similar industry forums.
- Background in AI-driven design methodologies.
