STPG NAND Product Development Engineer – Test Chip Vehicle

Role Summary

Entry-level product engineer on the NAND product development team at Fab 10N/X in Singapore. The role supports silicon bring-up, electrical and reliability testing, data analysis, and product qualification for NAND memory used in mobile, data center, automotive, and AI applications.

This position provides hands-on exposure to the semiconductor product lifecycle, from early silicon bring-up through qualification and yield improvement.

Experience Level

Entry-level — intended for new graduates or early-career engineers; no specific years of professional experience required.

Responsibilities

The engineer will support silicon validation and test activities, analyze results, and help improve test flows and coverage.

• Support silicon bring-up, testing, and characterization of NAND memory devices.
• Execute and analyze electrical, functional, parametric, and reliability tests.
• Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and yield issues.
• Work with senior engineers to debug silicon and test failures.
• Participate in continuous improvement of test coverage and development flows.

• Must-have: Strong problem-solving mindset, eagerness to learn, effective communication, and ability to work in a team.
• Nice-to-have: Coursework, projects, or internships related to IC design, testing, or characterization; familiarity with memory technologies (NAND); experience with data analysis tools such as JMP, Python, or MATLAB; exposure to lab/test equipment (automated test equipment, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers); experience using AI/LLM techniques for data modeling is a plus.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline. Strong academic foundation in semiconductor fundamentals, digital electronics, circuits, or device physics.
