Staff Product Engineer - RF
Role Summary
Senior product engineer responsible for development of RF/microwave products across communications, test & measurement, industrial, and aerospace & defense markets. Works within the RF Systems strategy and Aerospace, Defense and Communication Group to drive product development from concept through production.
Provides technical leadership, coordinates cross-functional teams, and ensures products meet performance, reliability, and compliance requirements.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 10+ years of relevant RF/microwave product development experience.
Responsibilities
Lead and deliver RF/microwave IC and module products through the full product lifecycle; provide technical leadership and mentorship.
- Lead development of advanced RF/microwave products from concept to launch.
- Define and drive product test methodologies, verification, and validation activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, test, program management) to meet customer requirements.
- Create technical documentation: test plans, datasheets, user guides.
- Maintain project schedules, work breakdown structures, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and export control requirements.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, experience, and work eligibility considerations.
- 10+ years of relevant RF/microwave product engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of RF engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with statistical methods and data analysis tools.
- Proficiency with PCB layout tools (e.g., Cadence Allegro) and common engineering software.
- Hands-on lab experience using RF/microwave test instruments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently in fast-paced teams.
- Able to travel up to 10%.

Nice-to-have:
- Recognized expertise in complex IC design and advanced testing methodologies.

Education Requirements
