Staff Power Integrity Engineer
Role Summary
Lead power and signal integrity engineering for System-in-Package (SIPI) development on the SIPI team. Focus on designing, analyzing and validating power-delivery solutions and electrical integrity approaches that improve Arm IP performance in advanced packaging.
Experience Level
Senior β requires more than 5 years of experience in Power Integrity and demonstrated technical leadership at staff or senior engineer level.
Responsibilities
Deliver technical direction and hands-on engineering for SIPI builds and power-delivery analysis.
- Design and analyze novel System-in-Package power-delivery and electrical integrity solutions.
- Develop and document robust build methodologies and platform electrical integrity solution spaces.
- Create and validate innovative power delivery techniques and interface strategies.
- Supervise package builds and run package-specific electrical analysis tools.
- Act as a technical lead, providing oversight and direction to sub-groups.
Requirements
Key technical qualifications and experience required to perform the role.
Must-have:
- More than 5 years' experience in Power Integrity.
- Proven expertise with SIPI analysis environments (e.g., Ansys suite, Cadence).
- Deep understanding of multi-port matrices (S, Y, Z parameters).
- Knowledge of electromagnetic extraction methodologies.
- Ability to drive build modifications and provide technical direction.
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with SoC implementations and models.
- Experience in system-level power quality assurance.
- Knowledge of complete package build flow and packaging manufacturing steps.
- Experience with advanced packaging (2.5D, 3D).
- Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting.
