Role Summary

Responsible for defining technical specifications and the product roadmap for next-generation microcontroller (MCU) products targeting IoT and consumer applications within Application Specific Standard Products.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set MCU core, peripheral, security, memory and low-power requirements that meet market and competitive targets.

Experience Level

Senior — 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Own product roadmap and technical specifications for next-generation MCUs aimed at IoT and consumer applications.
• Specify MCU core architecture, memory architecture, and analog and power peripheral sub-blocks.
• Define on-chip requirements for hardware-accelerated security (for example secure boot, crypto engines) and low-power wake-up states.
• Analyze competitor MCUs for pricing, feature set, and power efficiency to inform roadmap decisions.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in MCU applications, product definition, or product marketing.
• Proven experience with MCU architecture and peripheral definition, including security and low-power features.
• Strong system-level understanding of IoT and consumer application requirements.

Education Requirements

BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering with focus on Embedded Processing.
