Role Summary

Lead product definition and roadmap for next-generation microcontroller (MCU) products targeted at IoT and consumer applications. This role owns technical specifications for MCU cores, memory, analog/power peripherals and on-chip hardware security and low-power features.

Experience Level

Senior — requires 10+ years of relevant experience in MCU applications, product definition, or product marketing.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on defining product requirements and competitive positioning for Application Specific Standard Products.

• Own product roadmap and technical specifications for next-generation MCUs.
• Define MCU core architecture and peripheral sub-block requirements (memory, analog, power).
• Specify on-chip hardware-accelerated security requirements (secure boot, crypto engines) and low-power wake-up states.
• Analyze competitor MCUs for pricing, feature set, and power efficiency to inform roadmap decisions.

Requirements

Must-have technical experience and domain knowledge.

• 10+ years experience in MCU applications, product definition, or product marketing.
• Proven experience defining MCU core, memory, analog, and power peripheral requirements.
• Experience specifying hardware security features and low-power modes for embedded systems.
• Strong system-level understanding of IoT and consumer applications and market dynamics.

Education Requirements

BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Embedded Processing.
