Job Title

SoC Functional Safety and Cybersecurity Manager

Role Summary

Manage and support automotive SoC programs across Functional Safety, Automotive Cybersecurity, and related quality activities within the Global Standards and Compliance team. Work with engineering and business stakeholders through development, assessment, and product release.

Develop practical, scalable compliance approaches for ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434, improve development workflows, support external assessments, and roll out engineering best practices across automotive, robotics, and Physical AI products.

Experience Level

Senior (Manager-level). Years of experience not specified; the role expects significant experience in safety-critical semiconductor or SoC environments.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include enabling program compliance, driving assessment readiness, and implementing process improvements.

  • Enable Automotive and Robotics SoC programs from development through assessment and certification.
  • Align development practices with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Drive readiness for external assessments; conduct internal audits and reviews.
  • Prepare compliance evidence, safety documentation, and assessment responses.
  • Establish process improvements, training, corrective actions, and best practices across SoC programs.
  • Contribute to internal and external safety and cybersecurity readiness initiatives across automotive, robotics, AI, and industrial domains.

Requirements

Core required skills and experience.

  • Proven experience in semiconductor or SoC development within safety-critical industries.
  • Practical knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, ASPICE, IEC 61508, or similar standards.
  • Experience supporting engineering teams in compliance, audits, and process improvement activities.
  • Experience with functional safety and/or cybersecurity assessments and producing associated work products.
  • Ability to work across technical and organizational boundaries in complex engineering environments.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • No relocation package is available for this role.
