Senior Mixed Signal and Analog Circuit Designer
Role Summary
Design high-speed mixed-signal and analog circuits for GPUs and SoC products. Work with a cross-functional analog team to implement deep sub-micron CMOS designs, support physical implementation, and drive products through debug, characterization, and production.
Experience Level
Senior — minimum 5 years of relevant circuit design experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include circuit design, collaboration with layout/physical teams, and supporting product bring-up and production.
- Design state-of-the-art mixed-signal and analog circuits in deep sub-micron CMOS processes.
- Develop high-speed chip interfaces and complex analog functions for GPUs and SoCs.
- Collaborate with physical/layout engineers to floorplan and implement physical design.
- Support silicon debug, characterization, and qualification through high-volume production.
- Write scripts and automation to speed verification and characterization tasks.
Requirements

- Proven understanding of analog circuit layout concepts in submicron CMOS technologies.
- Practical experience in one or more of: display interfaces (HDMI, LVDS, DVI, MIPI PHY, DisplayPort), USB, PLL-based low-jitter clock synthesis, IO pads, high-speed serial links, or ADCs.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or SKILL.
- Experience with Cadence IC design environment and analog circuit simulation tools (HSpice, Finesim, XA).
- Expertise with Cadence Virtuoso custom circuit design tools.
- Experience running and debugging DRC and LVS with verification tools.
- Effective spoken and written English and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Education Requirements
MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering (explicit requirement in the posting). The role also specifies a minimum of 5 years of relevant circuit design experience.
