Senior Lead Engineer — Digital Verification

Role Summary

Lead digital verification work for complex IP/SoC designs in the verification team. Responsible for developing SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, assertions, and low-power simulation flows while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with RTL and system teams.

Experience Level

Senior — 4+ years of design verification experience (as stated in the posting).

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and implement complex SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification environments.
• Develop SystemVerilog assertions and verification plans; drive simulation and debug cycles.
• Set up and debug low-power simulations and UPF flows.
• Create scripts and automation for verification flows (Perl, Unix shell, etc.).
• Mentor junior engineers and review verification deliverables.
• Collaborate with RTL designers and system teams; report verification status and risks.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• 4+ years of design verification experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture and verification fundamentals.
• Proficient with Verilog and SystemVerilog, including assertions and testbench methodologies.
• Experience developing testbenches using OVM/UVM methodology.
• Experience with low-power simulation and UPF setup and debugging.
• Exposure to wired/wireless protocols such as PCIe, USB, Ethernet, 5G, or Wi‑Fi.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Perl, Unix shell) and basic assembly programming.
• Strong written and verbal communication; self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.

Nice-to-have:

• Hands-on experience with Wi‑Fi 802.11 MAC layer protocol.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher (BS or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics/Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related technical field (as stated in the posting).
