Role Summary

Perform RTL design and FPGA implementation for Xilinx-based systems. Work with the hardware team to assemble FPGA systems and verify designs; collaborate with software engineers for system integration and verification.

Experience Level

Senior — minimum 5 years' industry experience in FPGA/RTL design.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include RTL development, FPGA implementation, and cross-team verification.

• Develop and maintain RTL in Verilog and/or VHDL.
• Perform FPGA synthesis, implementation and timing-closure using Xilinx tools.
• Assemble FPGA system designs and integrate IP blocks.
• Participate in design verification and collaborate with hardware and software teams.
• Support bring-up and troubleshoot implementation issues on target hardware.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

• 5+ years of FPGA/RTL design experience.
• Proven proficiency in Verilog and/or VHDL.
• Experience with Xilinx toolchain for synthesis, implementation and timing closure.
• Experience collaborating with hardware and software teams on system integration and verification.
• Ability to integrate IP and interpret hardware schematics.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with high-speed interfaces (preferred).
• Experience with Xilinx UltraScale / UltraScale+ devices (preferred).

Education Requirements
