Job Title
Senior Engineer - IP Verification (AMS Verification)
Role Summary
Responsible for analog and mixed-signal verification of AMS IPs used in memory/DRAM products. Develop verification environments, SPICE testbenches, behavioral models and co-simulation flows, and drive debugging and integration across analog, digital and mixed-signal domains.
Experience Level
Senior — typically Bachelor’s degree with 4–6 years of experience, or postgraduate degree with 2–4 years of experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute analog and mixed-signal verification plans and testbenches.
- Build SPICE-based block and full-chip testbenches and COSIM/mixed-signal verification environments.
- Write behavioral and testbench models (Verilog, Verilog-A/MS, RVM).
- Implement SystemVerilog/UVM verification components and SV/PSL assertions.
- Debug complex analog, digital and mixed-signal interactions and failures.
- Collaborate with design, layout and firmware teams to resolve issues and ensure IP integration.
- Adopt approved AI tools to support verification workflows, scripting and methodology improvements.
Requirements
Must-have and desired skills:
- In-depth understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuits and verification methodologies.
- Experience with tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, PrimeSim/FinSim, HSPICE, Xcelium, SimVision, WaveView.
- Proven experience debugging complex analog/digital/mixed-signal circuits.
- Hands-on experience writing Verilog models, Verilog-A/MS and RVM.
- Experience building COSIM/mixed-signal verification environments and SPICE testbenches.
- SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification experience; familiarity with SV/PSL assertions.
- Scripting skills (Perl, Python) are a plus.
- Previous experience in DRAM or memory-related fields is preferred.
- Strong communication, debugging skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related engineering field with 4–6 years of experience, or a postgraduate degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field with 2–4 years of experience.
