Collaborate with design, firmware, software, and emulation teams to validate functionality, performance, and power modes, and to close defects to silicon release.
Experience Level
Senior; typically 4–7 years of experience in system validation, silicon bring-up, or post-silicon debug for complex SoCs.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include validation planning, test development, debugging, and automation.
- Develop and execute system integration and validation plans for complex SoCs.
- Design and implement system-level test cases covering functionality, edge cases, performance, and power mode transitions.
- Perform debugging and root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and drivers using debug tools, waveform analysis, and logs.
- Coordinate with design, software, and emulation/virtual platform teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks for multi-platform regression testing.
- Document technical findings and communicate results to engineers and stakeholders.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
