Role Summary

Lead and grow the Synopsys ICV design kit product development team for advanced process nodes. Drive timely delivery of DRC, LVS, PERC and fill design kits by coordinating with product management, R&D, foundries, and customers.

This role combines executive-level ecosystem engagement with hands-on leadership of kit creation, scheduling, and cross-functional alignment to ensure Synopsys design kits are market-ready for first-source semiconductor designs.

Senior — requires extensive senior-level experience; the posting specifies 20+ years of relevant EDA/semiconductor product management and marketing experience.

Responsibilities

Lead a team responsible for defining, developing, and delivering ICV design kits and related technical collateral for advanced process nodes. Coordinate across internal teams and external partners to ensure coverage and schedule alignment.

• Manage and expand the ICV design kit development team and its roadmap for advanced nodes.
• Define requirements and technical collateral for design kits to support complex, first-source designs.
• Coordinate schedules and align ICV design kits across Synopsys product lines and the semiconductor ecosystem.
• Work closely with product management, R&D, ecosystem partners, and sales to align product and go-to-market strategies.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships across internal organizations and with foundries, fabless companies, and IP partners.
• Negotiate and influence partner activities and outcomes to match Synopsys strategic goals.
• Act as an individual contributor on select technical or strategic projects as needed.

Requirements

Key qualifications and skills required to succeed in this role.

• 20+ years in EDA/semiconductor product management, marketing, or related roles (leadership experience required).
• Deep knowledge of the semiconductor ecosystem, foundry processes, and PDK/DRM workflows.
• Proven track record managing and motivating teams that deliver process design kit products to global customers.
• Experience developing or validating advanced-node DRC, LVS, and PERC design kits (coding in competitive toolkits required).
• Experience coding in Synopsys ICV is desired.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and cross-organizational collaboration skills.
• Ability to drive results under time pressure and manage complex partner discussions.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering and/or Device Physics required; MS in a relevant field desired.
