Job Title
Senior Director, Post Silicon Technical Program Management
Role Summary
Hands-on program management leader responsible for driving post-silicon execution and silicon readiness for complex Arm-based SoC programs. This individual contributor role coordinates silicon bring-up, validation, board-level validation, and convergence on functionality, performance, power, and quality objectives across a matrixed organization.
The role provides cross-functional oversight, integration management, and vendor/partner coordination to ensure schedules, dependencies, risks, and deliverables align with program goals.
Experience Level
Senior-level (12+ years of relevant experience expected) in semiconductor post-silicon, validation, and technical program management.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities focus on planning, coordination, execution tracking, and continuous improvement of post-silicon activities.
- Own post-silicon program execution from bring-up through validation, qualification, and manufacturing readiness.
- Develop and maintain integrated execution plans covering schedules, dependencies, critical paths, deliverables, risks, and mitigations.
- Coordinate across silicon validation, board bring-up, software enablement, debug, operations, TPMs, vendors, and partners.
- Drive cross-functional convergence on functional correctness, performance, power, quality, and release criteria.
- Lead execution forums that assign clear actions, ownership, and accountability and ensure issue resolution and follow-through.
- Identify execution gaps and improve post-silicon processes, tools, and workflows to strengthen program readiness.
- Maintain transparent program health tracking: schedule status, readiness criteria, risks, blockers, and cross-domain execution status.
Requirements
Core qualifications and skills required to perform the role, followed by optional experience that is advantageous.
Must-have:
- 12+ years of experience in semiconductor post-silicon, silicon bring-up, validation, and technical program management for complex SoC programs.
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs within a matrixed organization.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to drive alignment and accountability without direct authority.
- Detailed understanding of post-silicon lifecycle: bring-up, validation, qualification, debug, software dependencies, and manufacturing handoff.
- Strong execution rigor; ability to convert process into consistent delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making under ambiguity or high pressure.
- Strong communication skills; able to translate technical issues into clear, actionable updates.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with high-performance or infrastructure-class SoCs.
- Exposure to multi-die integration and complex cross-domain dependency management.
- Experience working with external post-silicon vendors, labs, or ecosystem partners.
- Familiarity with pre- to post-silicon correlation methodologies and silicon quality metrics.
Education Requirements
