Role Summary

Accountable for end-to-end delivery of multi-site R&D and industrialization projects (studies, cost reduction, transfers, complex NPIs). Leads cross-functional teams, coordinates stakeholders across functions and reports to senior management.

Experience Level

Mid-level — minimum 5 years of project management experience delivering concurrent, high-value projects.

Responsibilities

Deliver projects on scope, schedule and budget while managing risks, changes and stakeholders.

• Define and implement overall project plans; ensure delivery to specifications, quality, timing and cost.
• Build and lead cross-functional, multi-site project teams; provide operational guidance and resolve conflicts.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; develop contingency scenarios.
• Manage change requests and follow change control processes.
• Define and control project budgets, including CAPEX and product cost tracking.
• Provide transparent reporting and concise status updates to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement of project processes and contribute to team development.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience; nice-to-have items noted.

• Minimum 5 years proven track record managing multiple concurrent, high-impact projects (project budgets typically >$1M).
• Proven leadership in intercultural and matrixed environments.
• Strong understanding of risk management, change management, resource planning and budget control (including CAPEX and product costs).
• Experience managing diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrable ability to build, motivate and sustain high-performing teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and take initiative to resolve issues.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and strong German communication skills.
• Nice-to-have: familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and packaging.

Education Requirements

University degree in an engineering field (preferably microelectronics or semiconductor physics). PMI certification or similar is beneficial.
