Role Summary

Responsible for the engineering aspects of semiconductor products through the product lifecycle with emphasis on production (test, assembly, qualification), quality and yield improvement. Works on NPI launches, supports volume production and resolves manufacturing issues in coordination with design, test and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include supporting new product introductions and maintaining product quality and yield in manufacturing.

• Lead product engineering activities from NPI to volume production.
• Support ATE test strategy and characterization activities.
• Define and maintain manufacturing test limits and fail rules based on ATE, characterization and qualification data.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering, QA, Design, Assembly and Supply Chain to resolve production issues.
• Analyze production and test data to improve quality, reduce yield loss and increase throughput.
• Prepare and review characterization and specification conformity reports (SCM).
• Participate in product qualification processes (e.g., AEC-Q100, JEDEC).
• Investigate production deviations and RMA cases.
• Set SYL/SBL limits to balance quality and yield loss.
• Improve analysis methods and tools (statistical methods, DOE, data visualization).

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and capabilities for the role.

• Basic knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
• Programming skills for data analysis and automation (Python, C#, VBA, R or similar).
• Ability to analyze manufacturing and test data using statistical methods.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams; English at Intermediate level (written and spoken).

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in semiconductors or electronics manufacturing, test engineering or product engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical parameter measurement methods and test equipment.
• Experience with project coordination or management.
• Experience with data analysis/visualization tools (for example, TIBCO Spotfire).
• Understanding of integrated circuit manufacturing processes and qualification practices.

Education Requirements

Higher education in Electronics or related technical fields (for example: physics, semiconductors, radio engineering). The posting specifies a technical higher-education background.
