Job Title

New College Grad - DRAM Product Reliability Characterization Engineer

Role Summary

The engineer will design and execute reliability characterization for DRAM products, develop predictive models, and drive methodologies that inform product qualification and technology improvements. The role sits within the DRAM Technology group and collaborates across engineering, test, and data teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level (new college graduate).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include experimental design, data analysis, and modeling to assess DRAM reliability and inform qualification decisions.

  • Design and coordinate DRAM reliability characterization: stress test plans, simulation, data collection, and failure analysis.
  • Develop and validate reliability models to predict product lifetime under field and accelerated stress conditions.
  • Implement automation and AI-driven solutions to improve reliability prediction and test throughput.
  • Analyze large reliability datasets to identify degradation trends, failure mechanisms, and early-warning indicators.
  • Communicate technical findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Hands-on engineering experience demonstrating technical depth and problem-solving capability.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication to present complex technical results.

Nice-to-have / Preferred:

  • Experience with reliability or device modeling (physics-based, statistical, or machine learning approaches).
  • Laboratory or bench experience with semiconductor test equipment, reliability stress systems, or electrical characterization tools.
  • Understanding of CMOS process technology, common degradation mechanisms, and digital/analog CMOS operation.
  • Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for data analysis and automation.
  • Knowledge of DRAM architecture and operation.

Education Requirements

Master's or PhD in electrical engineering, physics, or a related technical field (as stated in the minimum qualifications).
